Snow Moon Retreat

  • Tom Miner Basin, MT (map)

This retreat is sold out.

The Snow Moon, February’s full moon, reaches it’s peak on February 24. As the last full moon this winter, it is a powerful time for rest, reflection, and embracing some magic.

We hope you will join us for this 4-day/3-night winter retreat at the historic B Bar Ranch in Tom Miner Basin, just north of Yellowstone National Park. This retreat is centered around cross-country skiing, a Yellowstone National Park adventure, soaking in natural hot springs, and guided energetic, spiritual work and intention setting for the year ahead.

Your Hosts

We are thrilled to co-create this experience with these creative, passionate, wise women.

Kaycee Kalahar is a healer, creative, and owner of Folk Elements. She will be infusing the retreat with energetic intention and facilitating a half-day session that will help you call in what you desire for the year ahead. Kaycee will lead us in a full moon ceremony prior to skiing under the light of the full moon on Saturday night.

Ashea Mills is a naturalist guide and owner of Walking Shadow Ecology Tours of Yellowstone. She has over 25 years of experience helping people discover the beauty and magic of the Yellowstone ecosystem. Ashea will lead a guided xc ski tour in Yellowstone Park, sharing her vast knowledge and understanding of the human and natural histories of this special place.

Kaleena Miller is an educator, sustainable food advocate, and deeply curious learner. She will be teaming up with Katie Weaver to ensure you are comfortable and have everything you need. They will be cooking up delicious meals and treats that will keep you nourished and energized throughout the retreat.

Group Size

We believe it is important to keep group size small to ensure we can fully experience the peace, quiet, and power of this special place. This also ensures you have plenty of time to connect with the hosts and each other. This retreat is limited to 11 guests.

Pricing

The cost of this 4-day/3-night trip is $1,400 - $1,900, depending on your lodging choice. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. Full payment is due 30 days prior to the retreat start date. The retreat begins at 3 pm on February 22 and ends at 12 pm on February 25. You have the option to arrive early and stay later to enjoy B Bar’s groomed ski trails.

The Location

The spectacular B Bar Ranch is the setting of this retreat. Nested beneath the 10,000 foot peaks that mark the northern boundary of Yellowstone National Park, the Tom Miner Basin is an ecological wonder. We will have exclusive use of the historic Main Lodge and two A-Frame cabins. B Bar grooms 20 kilometers of xc ski trails that accommodate skate and classic skiing, as well as 7 kilometers of backcountry trails.

You will have your choice of sleeping accommodations when you register. You won’t be sharing a bed unless you want to. We recommend couples or groups book together to ensure shared accommodations. Please contact us if you are coming with a spouse or friend and would like to share a bed - special pricing is available.

You are responsible for travel to and from the ranch, including the day trip to Yellowstone National Park and Yellowstone Hot Springs. Detailed driving directions will be provided and we are happy to connect those of you interested in carpooling. If you are flying, the nearest airport is Bozeman Yellowstone International. There are many car rental and shuttle options.
